Ignorant of the growing social and political unrest around him, aristocratic twit Toussaint Desmarais challenges Ukrainian artisan Vasyl to a footrace through Odessa's streets and catacombs for the hand of opera singer Carmina. Under it's original title "The Race", FELIX'S REBELLION was longlisted for the Short Fiction New Writers Award.
